Our amazing watershed in Bend is one of the biggest reasons that our city is home to so many top-quality breweries. Our water is pristine, making it ideal for brewing. The importance of protecting this precious resource goes well beyond making great beer, but it’s also one aspect that I appreciate.
— Robin Johnson, Deschutes Public House

Oregon Agricultural Trust’s “Cheers to the Land” 2024 Collab Series

We are proud to have partnered with Yakima Chief Hops, to have Coleman-grown hops featured by these breweries:

Ferment - Coleman-grown Mosaic
Foreland - Coleman-grown Mosaic
The Wheel - Coleman-grown Simcoe

Baba WCIPA - Fuji To Hood Festival 2024

A can of West Coast IPA from Ferment Brewing Company, labeled "Cheers to the Land." It contains 16 fl. oz (1 pint) with 6.3% alcohol by volume (ALC./VOL).
Beer label for 'Pura Oregon' by Von Ebert Brewing, detailing 5.7% ABV, tasting notes of peach, white grape, cannabis, and pomelo, with malts from Great Western Pure Oregon and Weyermann Vienna, and hops including Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic from Coleman Agriculture.

State of Excitement - Double Dry Hopped WCIPA

Von Ebert Brewing’s "Pura Oregon American Pale Ale," a dynamic collaboration featuring Coleman-grown Yakima Chief Hops Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe hops, plus Country Malt Group "Pure Oregon Malt." The hops represent three of our four diverse farm sites, so for brew day we took a longtime crew member from each farm to Portland so they could revisit the hops they cultivated and learn about brewing craft beer.

The first beer in our annual series honoring the legacy of Coleman's most dedicated farm employees while supporting academic opportunities for minority students. Proceeds from this brew support Oregon State University Terence Bradshaw Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources & Related Sciences Fund.
The fund also supports the OSU College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) a community-building and professional development program for students from migrant and farmworker backgrounds.

100% of the proceeds from State of Excitement go to the Oregon Brewers Guild - promoting, protecting and drinking beer in Oregon since 1992. Yakima Chief Hops Citra and Indie Hops Chinook, both grown at our Alluvial Farm were used in this brew, plus Roy Farms contributed HBC 586 (Krush) and Cascade Hops, with additional support from Prairie Malt and Maletis Beverage to round out this collaboration project. Pelican Brewing, Buoy Beer, Crooked Creek Brewery, Creekside Brewing, and Silver Falls Brewery attended brew day at Fort George Brewery, along with Coleman Hops crew and Roy Farms, because it takes a village of excitement to make a beer state.

Living Haus Beer X Uchu Brewing X Coleman Hops
West Coast IPA, Baba, released in conjunction with @fuji2hood! If you're into wrestling you likely know the story of Giant Baba, he was one of the most beloved Japanese wrestlers of all time and the inspiration for this beer. We partnered with Japan's Uchu Brewing on a Citra-forward IPA with a unique citrus fruit juice kick to it. Citra hops grown by Coleman Hops for Yakima Chief layer in soft notes of mango and tangerine, while Shikuwasa fruit from Okinawa imparts a delicate balance of sweet and tart lemon-lime flavor.
